1934, May 12th, Saturday

Still a N.W. wind and dust-storm was very bad. The men chored and then took Elmer’s engine to his home, had dinner there and Joe and I waited to go to school picnic [at] Whiting School and were too late, so we left Joe at Wheelers and she walked home and Carl brought her back. I took a free treatment of Dr. Wise. Will got a wind-mill. Elmer brought Tennessee home and chored.
