1934 April 30th Monday

Bright, real hot and clouded in p.m., just a few drops of rain so just dust and wind. After choring, Elmer fixed fence and did the work for Narvin Boyd came and Sophie, Will and I went to Valentine in Boyd’s car and Will drove and Narvin just opened gates and after supper Narvin and Elmer went to Ed Rezac’s to tell him to bring his calves. Paul Meyers fixed chimney on the roof and worked all day. He and Elmer got their own dinner. I took an Osteopath treatment from Dr. Wise and Will and Narvin went to see Fred Kramer south west of Valentine about 7 or 8 miles to see if he would put down a well but he was building a house near Cody, Nebr. so no see him. There was a man from down near Gran’s here this a.m. and wanted to put cattle in pasture but not room also another man in p.m. for the same purpose but he came from down towards Howard Lamoreaux.
