1934 April 20th Friday

Bright, N.W. wind and chilly. I had a cold in my head and didn’t do much but slept in a.m. and p.m. played solitaire. Ed Haisch left for home this morning. Chevrolet Salesman and wife here in a.m. and Will and Elmer took a ride to west gate but we no buy. Sophie did all the work and baked bread and baked 2 lemon-pie and we had one for dinner. Elmer gave stock hay and he and Will got broncho ready and in p.m. drove it to the store and Will bum also.
