March 29, 1934: Will still at Pine Ridge

1934 March 29 Thursday

Snowing and cold, a north breeze little to east and continued most of the day but quit at bed-time. I sewed on Sophie’s dress, slept in p.m., visited with Ben Clausen, who brought us 2 ducks and we had some for supper and it took Sophie a long time to dress them as they had so many small feathers in them. She got meals and separated milk, fed chickens, swept floors and I cleaned separator in p.m. Elmer gave stock hay from big-stack as usual and did all the chores. Will still at Pine Ridge.
