March 25, 1934: Our Ford Model A Is Gone

1934 March 25 Sunday

Bright, nice day and only snow in places. This is Palm Sunday and Mass at Hidden Timber but we no go for our Ford 1930 Model A is gone. Joe Clifford took it home and we have to depend on horses now. Noble Moore came to sell posts and wire but Will no buy yet. Ben Clausen came for the day and wants someone to bring the rack and help him haul fodder tomorrow. Harry, Louise, Harley, Fred and Dorthy Mae came to-day. Elmer Chauncey came this a.m. to see where hay his father could get and went home. Sophie did the necessary work. I helped Will get all papers for Joe, settled with Fritz, slept in p.m., visited with everybody here.
