1934 March 18 Sunday

Bright and cold until in p.m. was warmer. I helped Sophie peel oranges for jello and also pick chickens for dinner, and she got the meals and the other necessary work. Fritz came to chore and went back to Lattimores for the day. Will has a cold but better in the afternoon for we had for visitors Mr. & Mrs. Jay H. Tate and Richard, and Wm Pierce and Noble Moore came this a.m., got the car to go to the Boarding School and brought it back in eve. I played solitaire and Sophie and I played Rummy after supper.
