1934 March 17 Saturday

Not much snow in the night but real cold and continued cold this morning, at zero, and a N.W. breeze. I wrote in my diary, especially the financial one, played solitaire, and Sophie and I played rummy and solitaire in p.m. and evening. Will went out to chore in the morning, but lay on the davenport nearly all of the rest of the day as he has a cold on his lungs, so Fritz gave the stock hay and alfalfa and chored in the evening. He then went to Lattimores for the night. Sophie got meals and did all of the necessary work. This is St. Patrick’s Day. Henry Arcoren went home this morning via the big pasture for his horses.
