1934 March 5 Monday

Sun shone bright until in p.m. was a little cloudy. I made out an order to Sears, Roebuck & Co. for Lining & Seat Covers for our car and Will mailed it to-day, also several leases we paid, for Ben to Winner Sales Pavilion and they home before bed-time so Ben staid all night. Fritz had a bad cold and cough so in a.m. gave stock hay from big-stack and calves some alfalfa and p.m. he staid indoors and read until chore time and did all the chores. Sophie got meals and all the necessary work and baked a delicious apple-raisin bread-pudding. I worked at receipt-book and slept in p.m.
