1934 March 2 Friday

Cloudy most of day but when sun shone was fine, a S.W. wind at noon quite strong. I didn’t do much but visited with Sophie about all the reservation. She got meals and mopped downstairs, swept upstairs and all the necessary work. I slept in p.m. and played some solitaire. Fritz hauled a load of hay from the hills and gave it to the stock and in p.m. he worked at barn and got in some cows that are to have calves and had to chore alone for Will left for Winner to get car fixed and no home at bed-time so must of went to Dallas to find cattle to pasture this summer. Fritz has a cough and it is a dry one so much be on lungs. I helped a little at cooking.
