Bright, north breeze. Temperature 42 above. Clouded in eve, snowing when we went to bed. Fritz got 2 loads hay from hills for stock. Ben brought us some casing for sausage he got at Winner. He and Will went to Sheriff’s Sale at Bachelor Ranch south of Mission. No sale. Maggie washed clothes, all the necessary work. I had a cold, sick all day.
