Bright and warm temperature, 60 above. Maggie washed the clothes and all got dry, also got the meals and finished Delores Sell’s Dress and all the other necessary work. I had a cold and it was bad in throat and lungs so only sewed a little on rug and slept in p.m. Fritz hauled 2 loads of hay from the hills and the one in a.m. was put in the barn. Will chored and fixed barn-door and in p.m. cut tree on Moore Creek. John Wisenberger stopped in late p.m. on way to Ben Clausen’s but he couldn’t cross river so stopped here. Fritz to Lattimores after supper for tobacco.
