February 10, 1934: Sun set clear

1934, February 10, Saturday

Cloudy until in p.m. a little bright and sun set clear, and temperature rose to 42 above. I mended socks, sewed buttons on Will’s overcoat, played solitaire, slept in p.m. as Will had a bad cold so laid down to rest in p.m. and I did also. We played rummy and casino after supper. Fritz is at Lattimores these days. Will chored, got hogs over the river, went to Claude Allens to see about getting rest of pasture bill but nothing doing for awhile. He got mail and home. Maggie cleaned the house, got meals and baked a cake and popped corn.
