October 17-18, 1923

October 17, 1923: Another bright day and windy. Will & Lemoyne piled Sudan grass and Mr. Crabtree helped and in p.m. Will dragged field south of house. I washed clothes & Kenneth & Seth helped. Mr. W. D. Gallop of Lynch came to see about land deal.

October 18, 1923: A bright day. Will got 2 loads of corn and took Kenneth, Seth, Lemoyne & I to Spencer and on to Depot as we left for Winner on evening train. I made bread this a.m. In evening Will got another calf from old brockle-face-cow’s calf. We got to Winner at 10 p.m.
