September 18, 1920 and 1923

September 18, 1920, Saturday: Was a warm day but bright. Floyd Wood & black Spotted Sow had 15 and 11 pigs but laid on some. I watched them so they wouldn’t lay on many but it was a task. Mr. J. Aggerstedt helped Howard & Will as they put up a large stack. I mopped Kitchen in p.m.

September 18, 1923: Cloudy early morn but bright day and warmer than yesterday. Will visited with Alex Ward and Chas. Crabtree & Frank Berry and I made bread, we then got water and I washed clothes and Will finished plowing across road on Bradstreets, and fixed mower in evening, also went to Spencer for mower repairs.
