Bright, nice day. The men chored and Wm went to hills and got a load of hay for stock and Ben came at noon and skinned a mink and in p.m. he and Wm drove a broncho of Ben’s. John Wisenberger and Nephew John got hogs bought at sale. I got meals and not much else for I am all in. Will left for Ty Boes in Lyman Co. north of Vivian Bridge, then on to Julius Hansen’s, Jordan, then on to August Leusers if he can get that far this day but had a late start and won’t come back until he has cattle to pasture.

Nice forenoon, at noon began to cloud and Northwest wind strong and cold in p.m. Clouds never brought any snow yet at bed-time. Will and I were at Bill Abbott’s last eve and they will go with us to Gibson Sale tomorrow. Will and Van Epps chored and caked cattle. I got a lunch of chicken soup and pickled eggs so we went to O’Kreek Community Program for Washington’s Birthday. Those that gave addresses were Sup’t. Whitlock, Mr. Gordan, Mr. Miller, Dan Red Buffalo, Bernard Flood, Tom Whiting, Mr. Davenport. Some boys read poems and played violin. Star Spangled Banner, [Keep] the Home Fires Burning, Just Before the Battle, Mother, and America were sung. We came home in eve and Will got work horses in barn. W.D. fixed Model A so it would go.
