Bright a strong N.W. breeze and dust but nice eve. I got meals and went with Will to Store, then we took Mr. Lattimore home and Otto Rothley came in on mail from Hot Springs where he had been for treatment so we left him at Lattimores also and went on to Nels Johnson’s place where Jerry Karnes is moving to-day. Frank Van Epps, Ines Sorensen and Mr. & Mrs. Jay Tate are helping him move so Will settled with Tate on Community Sale then on to Burna Lewis’s where Will showed Mrs. Lewis and Ivan Gibson agreement on pasture of stock this season on return home, we ate a lunch when Wm brought in a colt from Moore Creek, then Will got a load of cane. Roy stopped on way to store and went with Will after cane.

1953 Feb. 21st Saturday

Bright all day. Men gave cattle another Stack alfalfa and put Prestone in Cat and fussed with it a lot as to push snow out of Yard Path to Barn to fence west well towards coop and well North of house. Snow pushed to regular Stack North House and near Barn. Betty brought Milk and got some eats in Basement, I guess. She came up yesterday also and floundered the snow, now we have a path out. I got eats, sewed on every day dresses and played solitaire and Will and I Canasta. He had to lay down yesterday p.m. but not to-day as he greased Cat and etc. He fixed malts for self and Dan. I cannot take this Batch [of] ice-cream, must get enough Chocolate flavor.
