Sun Shone in a.m. but cold p.m. and real stormy looking and in eve started to snow. I got meals and Wm and I went to church at 10:30 a.m. and Wm went to Bechstels, Harry’s, Wheelers and Ed’s in p.m. and night. Will fed stock and barn work in p.m. and got in fuel in eve. I am so tired and Will is bum also so this is a very unpleasant eve.

  1. 1953 – Looks like the first student might be Pat Hedeen, rather than “at Hedeen” and the Van Epps kids would be Madeline, Vernie and Sharon.

Clarice Chauncey is misspelled, but that could be in the original. (in Feb 1953, there were two little Chauncey kids in addition to Elaine.. Not that that’s important)
