Will chored and didn’t feel good but fixed bull-pen fence and feed bunk. W.D. chored, gave cattle hay, that is filled feed-rack in bull-pen and left a load of hay on rack for cattle here. He and Will went to fix fence at his barn in p.m. I got meals, laid down in p.m. and played solitaire. Will went to Whiting Store this p.m. and tried to locate 2 volt and 6 volt Batteries but mailman no bring as Gambles Store no find there for Manager had flu and only a boy there, and Will said that Sadie told him that Abe Turgeon died at his home in Mission Monday Feb. 1st at 5 p.m. He had the flu for a week and was better to-day so worked at Filling Station, The White Eagle, East End of Mission, all day and went home tired so said that he must rest and died at once from a stroke or heart attack.
