November 10, 1924, Monday
Was cold in morning and evening but day nice. Last night at 10 o’clock Messrs. John Carr and Harve Williams brought Miss Esther Winne here to teach school, so I went with her and took kindling to school. Will painted on house and Jake went to O’Kreek and got a load of poles for us. Lawrence and Mabel came for cobs and went home and Mabel came back for rest of day.
