November 7, 1925, Saturday

Was cold but bright today. Will started to fix storm windows, and Jesse Haisch and son Vernon came, so in p.m. they rounded in cattle after they went to Menz’s, but Fred was at Winner, so they did not get home until late evening, so Louise fed hogs and milked cows. We cleaned some and I made bread and cake and Jelly. Abe Elshire went to O’Kreek and got our mail and groceries.
