Another hot day but clouded in the evening, wind, no rain. Wm and George Pierce, Cecil Roundy, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Anderson, Dick Elshire, Reka Schmidt, Ed, Rena, Helen, Lemoyne, Kenneth, Seth, Leo, Edward and Charlotte were here today. Louise and I did ordinary work and dressed chicken, enough for dinner and supper. Will started several times to round in cattle but each time came back on account of visitors. Gale and Mr. Menz came for salt.
