A very hot day but bright and a beautiful evening. The Men finished branding at 10 a.m., so all went home before dinner, just Fred, Will, Hilda and I and Lavern for dinner. Fred went to Roundys with saddle. Mrs. Emerick and Alice, Bennie and Edna Bentz went to O’Kreek and got plums and Hilda went home with them.
