August 28, 1925, Friday
Was another windy day until middle p.m., then the wind quit but was quite warm. The men got machinery to hay-field and in p.m. Will, Jake and Lawrence worked at hay and George went to Mission to play ball. Jim and John Welch and Wm Cihak stopped on way to Mission. Messrs. Dick Schmidt and C. Elshire were here today.
I washed clothes and they dried in a hurry, also cleaned yard a little. Mr. and Mrs. George Smith, Richard and Robert brought Louise Whiting in the evening, as Mr. Smith got her at Carter where Mrs. M. brought her from Winner, where she came last evening.
