August 26, 1925: Cooked Buffalo Berries

August 26, 1925, Wednesday

Not so warm but a strong south wind in the p.m. Will and George finished at Smith’s and Will took Anderson’s wagon home and had supper there. George came home, sharpened sickles, and Lawrence raked and Jake mowed all the day. I washed clothes, made bread and cooked buffalo berries. Mr. C. Elshire here to tell about hogs.
