November 19: Will Got His Dinner, Oh My!

~ Boyd County, Nebraska

November 19, 1920: Another bright warm day. Mamma’s nose bled all night so I went to town for the day as she felt quite bad. Will cleaned barn and got his dinner, oh my! We had to use Brad’s buggy. Will husked 4 rows corn south of house and has a cold. I am tired.

November 19, 1921: Snowed all forenoon and cold all day but bright towards evening. Will fixed cow shed a little so cows wouldn’t stand in cold and William cut wood and towards evening they hauled out a load of manure and got a load of old hay for shed roof. I carried in wood and mopped floor.
